RE: [tuner23] EEC programing language, FORTRAN

Hi All,

The way I have heard this described is that Ford used a proprietary language "similar" to FORTRAN.

But it really does not matter what the source language was when it comes to the generated machine code. It could have been written in COBOL, BASIC, or Sanscrit, if you have a compiler to generate the correct machine instructions.

Now, if we could get our hands on the original source code vs.
a disassembly, then we would have something. Provided of
course, the programmers at Ford stuck in a comment or two. :)

Regards,
Jim Wirt

Does any one know the exact version of FORTRAN Ford used? Is is FORTRAN77?
