I think we all have mistakenly say that the ACT sensor pulls timing when in
effect it is the ECT sensor that does so. All I read so far points towards
the ACT contributing to air/fuel mixture changes not timing. See attached
table of strategies.
As a matter of fact the colder the aircharge the more fuel you get due to
increased injector pulse rate.

IF you have to run the LA3, AND you are looking for the most performance,
plug the ACT in and leave it out of the intake.
The ACT pulls timing as ACT increases, whether you are close to detonating
or not.
