chase......Your clutch kit will and will not work.  I know that answer sounds 
funny but let me explain,  To the best of my knowledge your clutch plate will 
fit no problem, but as far as I know your pressure plate will have to be one 
for a 2.3l as I belive that the mounting locations are indeed different. J.
