[tuner23] FMU
Hi Guys,
I don't have a tuner yet, however, as soon as my ride is together, I plan to
get one:). In the mean time, I asked a question before at another site
about how well a FMU would work with our ECU and got an interesting answer.
The person said that our ECU would already compensate for fuel as boost rose
and that the FMU would only be confusing the ECU.
And, I understand that, however, the map works for stock vehicles, once you
do some mod beyond stock, all hell breaks loose.
Does anyone here run a FMU, if so, is it doing the job? or is it a waste of
time?.....I don't mean to second guess the other person, but a second
opinion is always good when you go in for surgery:)
Thanks,
Ray
